What is BuzzBrawl?

BuzzBrawl is a Web app that tracks and analyzes online data around top trends and assigns each a numeric score. You can watch the buzz build or fade and compare competing trends.

How does BuzzBrawl work?

Tocquginy identified six categories of SXSWi trends — technology, Web, gaming, social media, mobile and business — and generated a list of keywords related to each one. Then we assigned values to key blogs and Tweeters. As we track mentions of a specific trend, the reach and influence of the source is factored into its trend score.
